Industrial Maintenance Technicians - Food Manufacturing

Multiple opportunities are available for Industrial Maintenance Technicians within established food processing and packaging operations throughout the Chicago area.

We are seeking maintenance professionals with hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment. Candidates with mechanical, electrical, and automation troubleshooting skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose equipment failures and minimize production downtime.
• Troubleshoot motors, drives, sensors, electrical components, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Maintain conveyors, packaging machinery, processing equipment, and production systems.
• Complete equipment repairs, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Follow safety, food safety, and plant maintenance procedures.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Experience with packaging or food processing machinery strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to work independently and support production operations.
