CNC Machinists - Setup & Operation

Multiple manufacturing opportunities are available for CNC Machinists across the Elgin and Elk Grove Village areas. We are seeking candidates at various experience levels, from CNC operators to experienced setup machinists and programmers.

Opportunities are available in precision machining environments producing components for industrial, automotive, aerospace, medical, and other manufacturing applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments.
• Inspect machined components using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain quality standards.
• Support production requirements and maintain efficient machine operation.
• Experienced candidates may develop, edit, or optimize CNC programs.

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience at the operator, setup, or programming level.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T preferred.
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, Swiss machines, or multi-axis equipment.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and inspection procedures.
• CNC programming and CAM experience preferred for advanced positions.
• Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Esprit, FeatureCAM, or similar software experience beneficial.
