Part-Time Shipping & Customer Service Associate

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable team member with experience in a shipping and mailing environment. If you enjoy helping customers, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced setting, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with shipping, mailing, and package drop-offs
• Process shipments using shipping software and a POS system
• Weigh and measure packages accurately
• Explain shipping options, rates, and available services
• Help customers select boxes and packing supplies
• Pack items carefully and securely for shipping
• Receive, sort, and organize mail and packages for mailbox customers
• Sell stamps, mailbox rentals, and other store services
• Process payments accurately and provide receipts
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized store

Requirements

• Previous experience in a shipping and mailing environment
• Experience using shipping software and shipping-related POS systems
• Familiarity with UPS, USPS, and FedEx services
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail when entering addresses, selecting services, and handling packages
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
• Comfortable assisting customers with questions and resolving routine concerns
• Ability to perform package-handling duties, with reasonable accommodation as needed
