About the Clinician's Workday

Clinicians will provide 24-hour general surgery call coverage on an on-site inpatient basis, with coverage required November 26 through November 30 and potentially ongoing. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures, laparoscopic surgery, minor orthopedic interventions, chest tube insertion, and vascular access device placement, while maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is required for all clinicians considered for this position.
