Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2320 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience:
Solid telemetry experience is required because this is a mixed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit.

Special Requests:
No RTO is allowed over holidays.
RTO during the assignment is not preferred.

Unit Details:
The unit uses Pyxis.
An IV team is available Monday-Friday on day shift only, depending on the IV nurse's patient care, and may not be available at all times.
Pharmacy and phlebotomy services are available 24/7.
Transportation is available Monday-Friday on day shift only.
Hospitalist coverage is available 24/7; intensivist coverage is available 7 days a week on day shift, with night coverage by phone/on-call.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week.
Call is required for permanent staff.
Every other weekend rotation is expected, but may be adjusted based on business need.
Scheduling is a mixture of self-request and business need.
RTO is limited to 2 weeks at a time.

Floating Requirements:
You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
Per union contract, you must float to any Med-Surg/Telemetry department to take patients and to other departments, such as ED, ICU, and OB, to task only.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
