Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Colorado license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Required Credentials:
ECG testing is required.

Preferred Credentials:
Conscious sedation for endoscopy is preferred.

Special Requests:
You must take a 6 month break between staff and travel for all AdventHealth facilities.
If you call off on a weekend or holiday, be prepared for your manager to schedule you on another weekend or holiday.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Patient ratios are 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling:
No call.
Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6 week period.

Floating Requirements:
Must be willing to float between locations in the region as needed, including Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, and Porter.
For floating outside the site, you will be notified at least 2hrs prior to the shift.
Must float to Med Surg, Cardiac, and Neuro Joint Spine units.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• ONS (Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• ONC (Orthopedic Nurse Certified)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
