Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with MatrixCare is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at any facility in this health system in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
One year of ED experience required.
Charge experience is required.

Special Requests:

Each resume employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility.
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Cannot have worked in a permanent or PRN position at CSH within the last 12 months.

Unit Details:
Patient ratios are 1:4 for acute patients and the ED, and 1:6 for swing-bed patients.
RNs are expected to titrate drips.
Equipment includes nebulizers, oxygen by nasal cannula and mask, a ventilator used only in the ED and for transport to another facility, and CPAP equipment that may be brought in for swing-bed patients.
Telemetry is used, and ED nurses read telemetry strips.

Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend is required.
Every other holiday is required.
The schedule includes flex time.

Floating Requirements:
The clinician is first to float and will float to the ED; the clinician may also work charge.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission
