Shift: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Experience:

• 5 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Unit Details:
The role provides technical support in the operating room, including arranging supplies and instruments, maintaining accurate counts, passing instruments and sterile supplies to the surgeon, assisting with dressings, and preparing and preserving specimens.
The role also includes sterile processing duties: operating sterilizers and running tests to validate and verify instrument sterilization, validating the sterility of packaged supplies, and checking instruments for sterility and proper working condition before and after cases.
After regular hours, the role includes cleaning and decontaminating surgical instruments.
Duties include using aseptic practices, inspecting sterile items for contamination before opening, maintaining sterility while opening sterile items, anticipating supply and equipment needs, checking supplies for outdates, restocking the operating room, and ordering supplies.

Shift & Scheduling:
Generally 6:30 AM-2:30 PM Monday-Friday with rotating on-call for nights and weekends. May have to stay late due to a late surgery case.
Holiday coverage required.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
