Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with STEMI, MI, arrhythmias, LHC/RHC, PFO, CardioMEMS, CTOs, devices, Micras/Aveir, TAVRs, MitraClips/TriClips, Impellas, and IABP cases is required.
Must be able to scrub and pan simultaneously.

Required Credentials:
If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Special Requests:
Block scheduling could be attempted if requested, but is not guaranteed.
RTO approval must go through the manager.

Unit Details:
The average daily census is 15 patients.
Common cases include STEMI, MI, arrhythmias, LHC/RHC, PFO, CardioMEMS, CTOs, devices, Micras/Aveir, TAVRs, MitraClips/TriClips, Impellas, and IABP.
Uses Omnicell and Xper Philips; equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Intellaspace IABP, Philips C-arm, and Siemens Zego for hybrid procedures.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotation is call only.
On-call is typically 1 weeknight per week, from end of shift until the following morning, and every third weekend, from end of shift until Monday morning, with a 25-minute response.
Holiday expectations are call only for 50% of holidays per contract.
Schedules are made 4 weeks at a time and may be received 3-4 prior to the schedule beginning.

Floating Requirements:
Could float within the specialties here if trained and comfortable.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager references required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
