Shift: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
2 years previous hospital experience as an OR/Surgical Tech.
Experience working vascular and orthopedic cases required.

Unit Details:
The primary function is scrubbing for surgical cases; other functions include handling instruments, supplies, medication, media, specimens, and instrument cases.

Shift & Scheduling:
Required to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Weekend hours: 3P-11P.
When fully trained, the OR Tech assumes responsibility for call.

Floating Requirements:
Floating includes General OR and may include Labor & Delivery, but rarely.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
