Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2400 per week. - Now Hiring

Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Experience:

• 5 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend hours: 24 every other weekend.
Work holidays as needed.

Unit Details:
Equipment includes Fisher & Paykel Airvo 2 nasal oxygen high-flow system, Respironics V60 ventilator, Drager Evita Infinity V500 ventilator, Getinge Servo-s ventilator, and Hamilton T1 ventilator.
Patient population includes adults, pediatric patients, and newborns in the birthing center.

Floating Requirements:
Floats to Waldo County General Hospital as needed.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
