Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2240 per week.

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience with 1 month within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Minnesota license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:
At least 1 travel assignment required.
Required skills include general surgery, total joint replacements, urology, vascular, and GYN.

Unit Details:
The unit provides orthopedics and general surgery care.
Patient ratios are 1:4-5 on days and 1:5-6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling:
12-hour variable day/night shifts: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730.
Every other weekend; holidays as needed.
During the first week, the traveler is usually scheduled 40 hours.
May be placed on call when low census; call-back minimum is 2 hours.

Floating Requirements:
Floats to other general west side units: 2W Hospice/Oncology, 4W Neuro EENT, 7W Med/Surg, and 8W Rehab.

5 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
