Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse- $1390 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Neuro assessment skills preferred.

Unit Details:
Procedures include assisting the neurologist with bedside LPs, central line dressing changes, tube feedings, wound care, and Foley catheter insertion.
Equipment includes feeding pumps, PEG tubes, IVs, central lines, drains, and EKGs.

Shift & Scheduling:
Works every 3rd weekend.

Floating Requirements:
Floats to Med Surg.
