We are looking for a dependable Test Center Administrator to support daily testing operations in South Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured, customer-facing environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and security are essential. The person in this role will help create an organized and positive testing experience while upholding exam procedures and maintaining the integrity of the test center. The schedule is set within operating hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, with site activity expected to expand over time.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome test takers, confirm identification, and guide them through the check-in process in a detail-oriented manner.
• Carry out test center security procedures, including screening activities and the use of handheld security tools when required.
• Observe candidates throughout their exams by conducting regular room checks and monitoring activity to protect testing standards.
• Respond quickly to candidate concerns, document incidents clearly, and escalate exceptions that fall outside established procedures.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment or device issues that may affect the testing session and coordinate next steps when needed.
• Preserve the security of exam materials, testing stations, and the overall environment at all times.
• Support a fair, calm, and comfortable experience for every candidate while enforcing testing policies consistently.
• Assist with operational tasks during slower testing periods, including organizing materials and preparing equipment for shipment or setup.
• Complete digital fingerprint scanning and related recordkeeping when applicable to exam administration requirements.• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional college coursework is helpful.
• At least one year of in-person customer service experience in settings such as retail, hospitality, food service, or similar environments.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for the position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and team members.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume setting that requires attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Windows-based computer systems, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and web browsing tools.
• Ability to stand or remain seated for extended periods, move through the testing room frequently, and lift or move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Capable of working in tight spaces around office or lab equipment while following safety procedures and maintaining visual attention on screens and monitoring systems.
