Warehouse Delivery Driver
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Warehouse Delivery Driver for a wholesale distribution company based in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Pay Rate
15.00 to 18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Warehouse Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store in coming freight. Accurately pick, pack, and label orders for shipment using inventory systems and barcode scanners.
- Safely operate company vehicles (e.g. box trucks, delivery vans) transport goods.
- Interact with clients, assist with product unloading/placement, and handle delivery paperwork and signatures.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Conduct routine vehicle and equipment inspections, maintain a clean, hazard free warehouse while adhering to safety guidelines.
Warehouse Delivery Driver Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license, clear motor vehicle record and background check.
- Ability to lift heavy items, walk/stand for extended periods of time
- Strong time management, problem solving, and scheduling skills.
