Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the perioperative period
• Perform scrub and circulator roles in the operating room as needed
• Assist in the recovery room as required
• Communicate effectively with all members of the perioperative team
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality while supporting the organization's mission, vision, and values

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Maine
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative nursing experience
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior experience in a scrub and/or circulator role in an operating room setting
