About this job

Description:

This is a full-time, in-office position and is not open to remote work.

Your next CFO role can be about more than reporting results. It can shape what happens next.

You’ll use data, forecasting, and modern tools to spot trends early, flag risks, and help our President and leadership team make smarter decisions about operations, technology, investment, and growth.

Your background doesn’t have to match ours. Finance experience from multi-site, regulated, or fast-changing organizations, whether for-profit, nonprofit, or healthcare, translates here.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Partner with Operations to improve profitability through efficiency, resource planning, customer contracts, and pricing.
  • Explore automation and AI tools to improve efficiency, data integration, and visibility.
  • Turn financial and operational data into clear dashboards and KPIs that help leaders act.
  • Build forecasts and three- to five-year models, and evaluate capital investments and growth opportunities while balancing margins, productivity, and risk.
  • Manage banking relationships, cash, debt, and capital planning to keep the business strong and ready to grow.
  • Support day-to-day accounting, including close and reporting, internal controls, budgeting, cash management, and tax and audit work.
  • Advise the President and ownership with clear financial insights and recommendations.
Requirements:

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
  • Finance leadership experience (CFO, Controller, Director of Finance, or Treasury) is valued. We also welcome candidates with less experience who bring a strong educational foundation, new ideas, analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, internal controls, and accounting principles.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
  • Experience working with accounting teams and banking, tax, and outside accounting partners.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to explain financials clearly and tie them to business performance.
  • A hands-on, collaborative style: comfortable leading strategy, staying close to the day-to-day work, and improving systems, reporting, and processes.
  • Experience in a multi-location or operationally complex organization is especially valuable; pricing, contract, or margin analysis experience is a plus.

Ready to help shape what’s next? We’d welcome a conversation.
