Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have experience in MedSurg acute care setting.
Unit Details:
Telemetry capability is available on all beds.
Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5 on days, 1:6 on nights, and 1-4 for pediatric patients; ratios also depend on level of acuity.
Floating Requirements:
Floats to all medical-surgical units and the ICU, taking medical-surgical overflow patients.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
