Commercial Cleaning Technician (part-time)

The Kelly's Enterprise is seeking a Commercial Cleaning Technician to support consistent, high-quality cleaning services onsite in Wilson, NC.

This is a part-time postion.

Hours will be from 10am-2pm daily.

Position Summary

This contract engagement calls for a Commercial Cleaning Technician to perform routine and detail-oriented cleaning tasks across commercial spaces through this approximately 1-year engagement. The work focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment for occupants and visitors.

The engagement will involve completing cleaning assignments according to established standards, using appropriate supplies and equipment, and ensuring work areas are left in proper condition at the end of each service period.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned commercial areas, including floors, restrooms, break rooms, and common spaces

• Remove trash and replace liners; restock basic consumables as needed

• Use cleaning solutions and equipment safely and according to product and site guidelines

• Inspect areas during and after cleaning to ensure tasks are completed to standard

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of supplies and work areas to support efficient service

Required Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety requirements

• Comfort with physical work that may include standing, walking, lifting, bending, and using cleaning equipment

• Reliability and consistency in completing cleaning tasks to a high standard

• Basic understanding of sanitation practices and safe handling of cleaning products

• Clear communication skills for coordinating tasks and addressing site needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial or custodial cleaning

• Experience working in fast-paced environments with established cleaning schedules

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe usage practices

• Attention to detail and commitment to thoroughness in completed work

• Experience handling cleaning equipment and maintaining it in good working condition

Compensation

Hourly rate: $14.00/hr
