About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL Class A Drivers for dedicated regional delivery routes based in Lancaster, Texas. This position offers guaranteed weekly pay, assigned sleeper trucks, and consistent routes with predictable home time. Drivers will deliver palletized food products to detention facilities using electric pallet jacks and liftgate-equipped trailers—no hand unloading required.

Pay & Schedule

• $1,800 guaranteed weekly pay
• Additional $25 per stop after the first stop
• Approximately 2,200 miles per week
• Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday
• Typically return Thursday around 1:00 PM or Friday around 6:00 PM
• Up to 4 consecutive nights out
• 3–5 days of training with a company driver, with no overnight trips during training

• Equipment: 48-foot liftgate trailers and 53-foot dry vans
• Trucks: Assigned sleeper cabs with APU and refrigerator
• Freight: Shrink-wrapped, palletized food products
• Handling: Electric pallet jack and liftgate; no hand unloading
• Stops: Typically 1–2 per trip, occasionally up to 3
• Home time: Weekly, with extended routes available for interested drivers

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned regional delivery routes.
• Deliver palletized food products to detention facilities safely and on schedule.
• Use electric pallet jacks and liftgates to move freight to ground level or customer docks.
• Verify freight against Bills of Lading (BOL) and delivery documentation.
• Maintain accurate stop details and delivery records.
• Communicate delivery delays or route concerns with dispatch.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks and liftgates preferred
• Previous food service delivery experience strongly preferred
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
