Are you an experienced Commercial HVAC Field Superintendent who knows how to lead crews, manage multiple projects, and keep jobs running safely, efficiently, and on schedule?

At ASTAR Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical, we're looking for a strong, hands-on HVAC Field Superintendent to oversee our commercial HVAC construction projects throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

What You'll Do

As our Commercial HVAC Field Superintendent, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day field operations, supervising installation crews, and ensuring commercial HVAC projects are completed safely, on time, and according to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field operations for multiple commercial HVAC construction projects.
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate HVAC foremen, installers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Manage manpower, crew assignments, productivity, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, Site Superintendents, and other trades to maintain project progress.
• Review and interpret mechanical blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and project plans.
• Ensure proper installation of commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and associated mechanical components.
• Monitor project milestones, identify potential delays, and proactively resolve field challenges.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, tools, and deliveries to ensure crews have what they need.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure quality workmanship, safety compliance, and project readiness.
• Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite requirements.
• Identify installation issues, coordinate corrections, and minimize rework.
• Monitor labor efficiency, job progress, and field performance to help keep projects within budget.
• Assist with inspections, equipment startups, punch lists, and project closeout.
• Maintain clear communication with management regarding project status, staffing needs, and jobsite concerns.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC construction or installation experience.
• Previous experience as an HVAC Superintendent, Field Supervisor, General Foreman, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, mechanical installations, ductwork, piping, and equipment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple crews and commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, manpower planning, and jobsite coordination.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and commercial construction practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with General Contractors, Project Managers, and other trades.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel between jobsites throughout the DFW Metroplex.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience overseeing large-scale commercial HVAC installations, new construction, or tenant improvement projects.
• Experience managing multiple commercial jobsites simultaneously.
• Familiarity with project budgets, labor tracking, productivity, and cost control.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience with construction management software and digital field reporting tools.
