Position: Radiology Technologist
Job Type: Full‐Time

Position Summary

Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients to foster comfort and confidence.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including x‐ray.
• Position patients and capture physician‐requested images accurately.
• Perform imaging exams in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations; notify physicians of results.
• Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety.
• Maintain required documentation, logs, charts, and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Ensure adequate supply of consumables for testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment.
• Carry out other related duties as directed.

Lead Role (if applicable)

• Assist in quality control and performance improvement activities.
• Contribute to performance feedback and hiring decisions.
• Ensure standards are met for quality, timeliness, and customer service.
• Evaluate and test new procedures/processes.
• Orient and train new staff.
• Provide technical leadership and workflow management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an AMA‐approved school of radiology technology
• ARRT certification in general radiologic technology
• Current BLS certification

Preferred:

• Associate degree in radiology
