A confidential client is seeking an experienced Commercial Escrow Officer to support a busy commercial department and deliver a high-touch, accurate closing experience from start to finish. This is an onsite role suited for a calm, customer-focused professional who can manage multiple commercial files, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Required Skills

• Compensation: $90,000–$120,000, depending on experience
• Shift: 1st shift (exact hours not specified)
• Proven experience handling commercial real estate escrow transactions end-to-end
• Excellent customer service skills with a polished, professional presence
• Strong written and verbal communication (including phone and in-person communication)
• Highly organized; able to prioritize workflow, manage schedules/appointments, and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when reviewing documents and instructions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of escrow processes, including:
  • Preparing and coordinating documents for signing
  • Providing status updates on pending items
  • Reviewing commitments/preliminary title reports for vesting and legal descriptions
  • Identifying and escalating unauthorized liens/encumbrances vs. buyer/seller/lender instructions
  • Preparing settlement statements/closing disclosures with detailed charges
  • Auditing and closing files once all funds and documents are received
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Understanding and following escrow accounting procedures
  • Quoting accurate fees using the applicable rate manual
• Ability to train/guide escrow support staff as needed

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with SoftPro (or similar title/escrow production software)
• Background in a title insurance / escrow environment
• Experience supporting complex, multi-party commercial closings
• Prior experience supervising or mentoring escrow assistants

Preferred Education and Experience

• Prior experience as a Commercial Escrow Officer (or comparable commercial escrow role)
• Commercial transaction experience strongly preferred
