Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• 2+ years’ experience required
• Inpatient & outpatient experience required
• Current NM licensure required
• Pending NM state licensure approved, must be included with submission

Assignment Details

• Mon-Thurs, 8a-6pm
• Fri, 8a-12p
• Work at hospital one Saturday per month

Location Highlights

Carlsbad, New Mexico offers access to Carlsbad Caverns National Park, located about 30 minutes from the city, and the Pecos River runs through town with nearby trails and recreation areas. Living in this southeastern New Mexico community places clinicians near Sitting Bull Falls, about 45 minutes away, and the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park, located within Carlsbad city limits. The area supports an outdoor lifestyle with boating and fishing at Brantley Lake State Park, roughly 20 minutes away, and regional access to Guadalupe Mountains National Park, about 1 hour from Carlsbad. Carlsbad also has a walkable downtown near the Pecos Riverwalk Recreation Area and is positioned along U.S. Route 62/180 for regional travel across southeastern New Mexico and West Texas.
