Join a crew of experienced operators running scrapers, dozers, excavators, rollers and loaders on projects across the United States. This is a per diem travel position for operators who are ready to move between job sites, work long days when needed, and get the job done safely and efficiently. You'll operate a range of earthmoving machines, use GPS/grade-control and blade work, perform daily inspections and light maintenance, and adapt quickly to changing site conditions. Travel, a strong work ethic, and a focus on safety are required.

What you'll do
  • Operate scrapers, dozers, excavators, rollers and loaders safely and efficiently on earthmoving and civil construction sites
  • Use GPS grade control, blade work and machine controls to meet grade and production targets
  • Perform daily pre- and post-shift equipment inspections; report defects and complete basic maintenance
  • Follow site safety plans, enforce PPE and lockout/tagout procedures, and attend site-specific safety briefings
  • Adapt to different jobsite conditions and crew assignments; keep accurate equipment logs and job reports

What we're looking for
  • Proven experience operating scrapers, dozers, excavators, rollers and loaders on civil construction or earthmoving projects
  • Willingness to travel nationwide for multi-week assignments; flexible schedule to meet project needs
  • Ability to read basic plans, follow grade stakes and use GPS/grade-control systems
  • Strong focus on safety and ability to enforce site safety procedures
  • Basic mechanical skills for routine equipment maintenance and inspections
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug test
  • Minimum 2 years operating heavy earthmoving equipment (scraper/dozer/excavator/roller/loader)
  • Familiarity with GPS/grade-control systems and blade work; equipment operator certification preferred (NCCER or manufacturer certs)
  • English proficiency for reading plans and safety communications

What we offer
  • Per diem provided for travel assignments
  • Consistent travel work nationwide with multi-site project opportunities
  • Hands-on experience with GPS/grade-control and modern blade/dozer systems
  • Overtime opportunities on extended projects
  • Stable assignments with clear day-to-day duties and safety support
