School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - North Hollywood, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working with TK-6th grade students
• Ability to organize and manage a caseload efficiently

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades TK-6th under the direction of an SLP
• Implement treatment plans, document progress, and support IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to maximize student success
• Assist with screenings and help prepare therapy materials
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and session notes
• Work alongside the outgoing SLP to ensure a seamless hand-off and continuity of care
