Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with CPSI is preferred.

Requirements:

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum one year of general ultrasound experience.
Demonstrated ability to perform vascular and general ultrasound examinations independently.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Previous experience in a hospital or critical access hospital environment.
Experience managing a combination of inpatient and outpatient examinations.
Additional competency in obstetric and breast ultrasound.

Required Credentials:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent qualifying education/training.

Unit Details:
Vascular and general diagnostic ultrasound examinations are performed according to established protocols and physician orders.
Additional ultrasound examinations, including obstetric and breast imaging, are performed as needed and within demonstrated competencies.
Examinations are prioritized based on patient acuity, and inpatient and outpatient imaging schedules are coordinated.
Abnormal findings are recognized and pertinent information is communicated to the interpreting radiologist, vascular surgeon, or appropriate clinical personnel.
Evident is used as a charting system.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS))
