Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities, prevents illness and injury, and alleviates suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response. The RN advocates for individuals and families, ensuring compliance with standards of practice and professional development. The RN fosters a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients, considering safety, effectiveness, and cost.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management.
• Administer medications safely according to policy.
• Share responsibility for productivity and resource utilization.
• Comply with nursing practice standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Nursing Shared Governance and improvement initiatives.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education.
• Integrate nursing research and evidence into practice.
• Support learning for new employees and students.
• Adhere to United Health Services Values and perform other duties as assigned.

SkillsRequired Skills & Experience

• 6 months - 3 years of RN experience.
• 0 - 3 years of management experience.
• 5+ years of direct experience.
• Collaboration, communication, critical thinking, organizational understanding, planning, problem-solving, quality, reliability, safety, and risk management.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting.

Med Surg MT3 Neuro. 1 year Neuro experience needed. 13 Weeks - 36/Nights, every other weekend.
