School Nurse Position Description - Full Time

Responsibilities One-to-One School Nurse

• Provide individualized nursing care to students with special medical needs, including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and emergency response.

• Create and follow individualized care plans in coordination with families, healthcare providers, and school staff.

• Maintain open communication with parents, teachers, and related professionals about the student’s health status and progress.

• Advocate for appropriate accommodations and support services within the school environment.

Requirements:

· Valid NYS Registered Nurse License/Registration

· CPR Card (BLS)

· Malpractice Insurance

· Fingerprints for NY State (IDENTOGO)
