Job Summary
Fuze HR is seeking a reliable, safety-focused CDL-A Driver to deliver stone products to fabricator shops using a straight flatbed truck. The ideal candidate has commercial driving experience, communicates effectively, and follows safe driving and material-handling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial straight flatbed truck on scheduled delivery routes.
- Deliver products to fabricator shops.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
- Communicate with the office regarding delays, route progress, and delivery issues.
- Follow safe loading, unloading, and load-securement procedures.
- Coordinate with site personnel during deliveries.
- Report unsafe conditions and stop work when necessary.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and follow DOT and company safety requirements.
- Assist with warehouse duties during slower periods as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A.
- At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
- Ability to meet DOT medical and physical requirements.
- Acceptable driving record under company and insurance standards.
- Strong safety awareness, reliability, and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn company-specific delivery procedures.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
Flatbed, construction materials, building supply, or stone delivery experience is an asset but not required.
Pay & Training
- Starting pay of $27-$30/hour.
- Approximately 40–43+ hours per week.
- Approximately two weeks of initial ride-along and supervised driving training.
- Full-time position with warehouse support duties during slower periods.
