- Enable and analyze AWS VPC Flow Logs in collaboration with network and security teams to improve traffic visibility and support least-privilege network rule changes.
- Design and develop dashboards, alerts, and monitoring frameworks to track network health, availability, connectivity, and service performance.
- Establish performance baselines, investigate anomalies, correlate telemetry, and proactively identify network and service issues.
- Analyze network traffic patterns and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, availability, and performance issues across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Align observability solutions with the organization's transition from Datadog to Grafana, Loki, and Prometheus.
- Collaborate with cloud, network, security, infrastructure, and application teams to improve monitoring coverage and incident detection.
- Validate monitoring and alerting capabilities during production readiness assessments, migration stabilization, and controlled failure testing.
- Develop and maintain observability runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, monitoring documentation, and operational handover materials.
- 5 7 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments, network monitoring tools, and observability solutions.
- Proven experience integrating network, system, and event logs into enterprise monitoring platforms.
- Practical experience creating dashboards, alerting frameworks, service health indicators, and performance baselines.
- Strong understanding of proactive issue detection, network troubleshooting, and service performance analysis.
- Experience monitoring network connectivity and performance across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Ability to analyze telemetry, investigate anomalies, tune alerts, and reduce unnecessary notifications.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production operations, migration activities, and incident resolution.
- Hands-on experience with AWS VPC Flow Logs and network traffic analysis.
- Working knowledge of Amazon VPC networking, routing, connectivity, and network security controls.
- Experience with Grafana dashboards, Loki log aggregation, and Prometheus metrics and alerting.
- Exposure to Datadog and observability platform migration activities.
- Experience with telemetry correlation, performance baseline development, and monitoring validation.
- Familiarity with regulated enterprise environments and associated operational controls.
- Experience supporting controlled failure tests, production readiness reviews, and operational stabilization.
- Network telemetry inventory covering AWS and connected on-premises infrastructure.
- Configured monitoring dashboards and alerting rules for network and service health.
- Documented performance baselines and monitoring coverage.
- Monitoring and alerting validation evidence, including results from controlled failure testing.
- Observability runbooks, troubleshooting procedures, and operational handover documentation.
