Travel RN Labor and Delivery

A leading regional healthcare provider known for patient-centric care is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Providence. You will support patients through labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum period. This 13-week assignment suits an experienced L&D nurse with strong judgment under pressure.

• Contract assignment, 3 months with possible extension
• Work setting: onsite
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks
• Candidates must live 60 or more miles from the facility

• Assess and monitor mothers and babies throughout labor and delivery
• Interpret fetal heart rate tracings and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and support pain management plans
• Assist physicians and midwives during deliveries and emergencies
• Provide immediate postpartum and newborn care
• Educate patients and families and document care accurately

• Active RN license (Rhode Island or compact)
• Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery experience
• Current BLS and NRP certification
• Fetal monitoring competency
• Must reside 60 or more miles from the facility (travel requirement)

• ACLS certification
• RNC-OB certification
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patients
• Epic or similar charting system experience
• Travel or contract assignment experience at multiple facilities
• Strong references from recent clinical managers

• Pay: $73.34 to $75.34 per hour
