Job Description
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Elementary School

Clarifi Staffing Solutions

Term: Full-Time | Current Academic Year (With 2026–2027 extension potential)

Setting: School-Based (Elementary Caseload)

Location: Michigan

The Opportunity

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to champion student communication and confidence across a Michigan elementary school community. This full-time role for the remainder of the current academic year is a uniquely therapy-centered assignment with no evaluation or assessment duties. By focusing entirely on direct intervention, you will have the dedicated time to help young learners build essential communication skills, boost their classroom participation, and thrive in peer interactions. Exceptional performance offers a seamless pathway to extend your impact into the 2026–2027 school year.

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver high-impact, direct speech and language therapy to elementary students while managing the essential tracking and documentation required for student success. You will design and implement meaningful IEP goals and targeted intervention strategies tailored to each child's communication needs. Beyond direct therapy, you will foster strong partnerships with classroom teachers, school leadership, and families to ensure communication milestones are reinforced across all settings. Finally, you will keep precise data logs, progress reports, and therapy notes, while actively contributing your insights during collaborative IEP team discussions.

Requirements
Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly preferred.

Licensure: Active Michigan State License to practice Speech-Language Pathology (required prior to start date).

Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent verbal/written communication, and a natural ability to connect with and advocate for elementary-age students.

Education: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
