Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in mainframe application development, maintenance, enhancement, and production support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and CICS.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL.
• Strong experience with JCL and mainframe batch processing.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 and SQL.
• Strong experience with CICS.
• Experience with VSAM files.
• Experience in developing, enhancing, testing, and debugging mainframe applications.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe application development and production support.
• Experience with Job scheduling and batch processing.
• Experience with Change Management and version control tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in an onsite environment in McLean, VA.
• Must be available for a Face-to-Face interview.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking / Financial Services.
• Experience with DB2 performance tuning.
• Knowledge of IMS/DB or IMS/DC.
• Experience with CA7, Control-M, or other scheduling tools.
• Knowledge of Endevor, Changeman, or Git.
• Experience with Mainframe testing and debugging tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong production support and incident management experience.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise applications.
