At Envision Hospice, we believe every patient deserves comfort, dignity, and compassionate care when it matters most. We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Hospice Weekend RN to provide skilled nursing care and support to patients and families throughout Pierce and Thurston counties.

This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working independently, responding to patient needs, and making a meaningful difference while maintaining a weekend schedule.

What You'll Do

• Respond to urgent patient needs and provide skilled nursing interventions.
• Assess and manage pain, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and monitor effectiveness to promote patient comfort.
• Provide education, emotional support, and reassurance to patients and families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and on-call staff to coordinate care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Care is provided in private homes, adult family homes, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities.

We'd love to hear from you!

•  Active Washington State RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of healthcare-related experience required.
• At least one year of hospice or home health nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond confidently to urgent patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Training Requirement: Must be available for a minimum of two full weeks of training, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
