Caregiver Responsibilities

As a caregiver, you may assist clients with:

• Personal care, including bathing, showering, and dressing.
• Toileting and incontinence care.
• Companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Meal preparation and assistance with meals.
• Medication reminders according to the client's care plan.
• Light housekeeping related to the client's daily needs.
• Walking assistance and mobility support, as appropriate to your training and the care plan.
• Accompanying clients to appointments or activities when included in the assigned care plan.

Qualifications

• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• A genuine desire to help seniors maintain their independence and dignity.
• Good communication skills and reliability.
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes or concerns to the office.
• Caregiving experience is a plus; applicants with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to meet applicable hiring, background screening, and training requirements.
