Mechanical Assembler 1st Shift

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to work in our client site in Gahanna, Ohio, area.  This is a full time, temp to hire position.    Required:

• Experience or interest in metal work/fabrication.
• 2-3 yrs. in mechanical assembly (not assembly line).
• Read and interpret prints/schematics.
• Use power/air/hand tools; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand, squat, bend, reach, pull, push during shift.
• Attention to detail & tactical ability.
• Pallet jack experience.
• Work independently and in a team.
• Reliable attendance.
• Contribute to team dynamics.
• Cross training on finishing equipment.
• Basic computer skills (Word/Excel).
• Organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Identify various metals (Steels, Aluminum).
• Job Shop and manufacturing experience.
• Experience with sealants and gaskets.

Education:

High school or equivalent
