Knitting Supervisor-Direct Hire

Bradley Professional is currently seeking a Knitting Supervisor for their client located in Winston Salem, NC

This is a Direct Hire Opportunity.

Job Duties:

Supervises the activities of the assigned departmental leads and knitting employees to achieve

maximum efficiency and productivity with the ability to work cooperatively and

communicate effectively.

Directs leads with respect to production volume, quality, and meeting production schedules.

Confers with the Plant Manager and Scheduler to establish working schedules for employees

according to production needs.

Maintains adherence to company policies, including the enforcement of safety standards,

including personal protective equipment, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and SDS books

and training for the knitting department.

Recommends the hiring and releasing of production to human resources as required to

maintain production schedule.

Schedules overtime, as needed with permission of Plant Manager.

Supervises the Preventative Maintenance Program, assuring that knitting equipment

in working area are properly maintained for efficient production and PM schedules are met.

Maintains good employee relations taking proper disciplinary measures when needed

following company policy.

Keeps proper records of department production employees including time sheets and

training documentation.

Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and

elimination of wasteful practices within the Knitting Department.

Establishes accountabilities with leads and production employees which can be used to

establish goals and use for performance evaluations.

Assures ISO procedures pertaining to Knitting are maintained, administered and all

documentation is completed according to written procedures.

Performs any other jobs or duties as determined by the Supervisor or Management

If necessary, the employee will be required to complete the training program for that job.

Required Experience:

3 years of experience in CNF Knitting Department preferred.
