Inventory Clerk

Our client, Program Logistics & Inventory Operations is seeking a Inventory Clerk to join their team. As a Inventory Clerk, you will be part of the Program Logistics & Inventory team supporting supply chain and logistics execution across multiple programs. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Wendell, NC

Pay Range:

Shift:  1st (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

What's the Job?

• Maintain accurate inventory records, material status reporting, and part-level accountability to support material visibility.
• Perform routine inventory reviews and reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to expedite deliveries, resolve shortages, and mitigate schedule risks.
• Track and communicate shipment status, material readiness, and logistics performance to key stakeholders.
• Support return material processes (including RMA coordination, documentation, tracking, and closure) and investigate damaged products or shipping discrepancies.

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, inventory control, supply chain operations, materials management, or program coordination.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, material tracking, and supplier coordination.
• Experience with purchase order follow-up and supplier expediting activities.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping practices, title transfer, freight liability, and cargo insurance concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory management or ERP/MRP systems, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
