Job Title: Clinical Care LVN/LPN (Float) – Part-Time (Retail Clinic)

Pay rate: $37.17 an hr
Location: Fuquay-Varina, NC (will float between Fuquay-Varina & Cary clinics)
Schedule: Approx. 25 hours/week; 7–10 hour shifts during clinic operating hours (typically 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend; some major holidays)
Work Setting: On-site, patient-facing (safety-sensitive role)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support a fast-paced retail clinic environment. You’ll provide high-quality, evidence-based care, support daily clinical operations, and help maintain a safe, clean, well-stocked clinic.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, injectable, IV, topical) per scope/policy
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Document care, histories, and treatments in the EMR
• Support point-of-care testing and vaccine administration
• Perform phlebotomy as needed
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential interactions/side effects
• Provide excellent patient communication and education
• Maintain an organized, clean, and stocked clinic environment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in a U.S. state/territory/DC (must be in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions)
• • If compact, it must be issued in your primary state of residence
• Current BLS certification (must remain valid at least 30 days beyond the start date)
• High school diploma or GED (verifiable)
• 1+ year related healthcare experience
• Primary Care, Urgent Care, or ER experience required
• • (Candidates whose experience is primarily long-term care—SNF/LTC/LTAC/home health—may not be a fit for this clinic setting.)
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Comfortable working in an EMR (Epic preferred)

Training / Onboarding

• Must be available to complete the initial ~3 weeks of training/orientation with no planned time off.

Contract Details

• This is a temporary contract role; conversion to a permanent employee may be possible but is not guaranteed.
