Chiropractor – Personal Injury Clinic

Overview

Orlando Spine & Pain Institute is seeking a motivated and professional Chiropractor to join our Personal Injury clinic located in the Coral Way area of Miami.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position working primarily with patients who have sustained injuries from automobile accidents and other personal injury cases.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing personal injury patients from their initial evaluation through the course of treatment, including re-evaluations and final examinations. Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within an electronic medical record system are very important for this position.

Our clinic works closely with diagnostic imaging facilities, pain management providers, and other medical specialists to ensure patients receive appropriate care throughout their recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive chiropractic evaluations and physical examinations for personal injury and automobile accident patients

• Develop appropriate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans based on examination findings and patient presentation

• Provide chiropractic treatment and manual therapy as clinically appropriate

• Perform initial examinations, re-evaluations, progress examinations, and final examinations

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically necessary

• Review diagnostic imaging reports, including MRI and X-ray findings, as part of the patient's overall treatment plan

• Identify when additional diagnostic imaging or specialist evaluation may be appropriate

• Coordinate and refer patients for diagnostic imaging, pain management, orthopedic, neurological, or other specialty care when medically indicated

• Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation for all patient encounters

• Complete your own clinical notes using EHR

• Properly document diagnoses, objective findings, treatment recommendations, patient progress, referrals, and clinical outcomes

• Maintain documentation appropriate for Personal Injury/PIP cases

• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, referrals, and progress

• Work collaboratively with medical providers, therapy staff, medical assistants, and administrative personnel

• Maintain professional and ethical standards while providing high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic program

• Active and unrestricted Florida Chiropractic Physician license

• Strong understanding of musculoskeletal injuries commonly associated with automobile accidents and personal injury cases

• Experience working in a Personal Injury/PIP environment is strongly preferred

• Comfortable performing and documenting detailed musculoskeletal and neurological examinations

• Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills

• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems; experience with EHR is preferred

• Ability to complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Full-Time – Monday through Friday

Work Environment

This position is ideal for a chiropractor who enjoys working in a structured Personal Injury practice and understands the importance of both excellent patient care and high-quality clinical documentation.

The Chiropractor will work closely with our clinical and administrative team while coordinating care with diagnostic imaging centers, pain management providers, and other specialists when medically necessary.
