About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our dietary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest level of quality and sanitation standards. You will work closely with our culinary team to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the dietary department

• Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards

• Assist in the planning and preparation of menus and special dietary needs

• Manage inventory and ordering of food and supplies

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers

• Collaborate with our culinary team to provide exceptional dining experiences

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including food costs and inventory levels

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in a related field, such as nutrition, food service, or hospitality

• 2+ years of experience in a dietary or food service management role

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions

• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

• Familiarity with dietary software and technology

• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
