Job Summary:
At Visiting Angels Utah County, we provide compassionate, dependable care for Utah seniors and their families, empowering them to age in place with dignity and independence. We are seeking experienced In-Home Caregivers who share our passion for helping others and take pride in providing exceptional care. As an In-Home Caregiver (Overnight), you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' daily needs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Companionship: Build meaningful relationships with clients through friendly conversation, active listening, and social activities.

• Dementia & Memory Care: Support clients with memory loss through patient reassurance, consistent daily routines, and gentle reminders.

• Bathing & Toileting: Provide respectful assistance with bathing, showering, and toileting.

• Mobility Assistance: Assist with safe movement and mobility, while maintaining a safe home environment.

• Meal Preparation: Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.

• Personal Care: Assist with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.

• Medication Reminders: Provide reminders as authorized and permitted by the care plan.

Caregiver Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience with Dementia and Memory Care.

• At least 1 year of previous caregiving experience.

• 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.

• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screening.
