Overview

We are seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to help maintain clean, comfortable guest rooms and shared spaces at our downtown Atlanta property. You will follow established housekeeping and sanitation procedures, use cleaning equipment safely, and provide courteous service to guests. This role suits someone who takes pride in careful, consistent work and contributes to a welcoming hospitality experience.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and other assigned areas.
• Vacuum carpets; perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle cleaning products according to label directions and safety data sheets, and store supplies safely.
• Lift, carry, and move linens, supplies, and equipment using safe manual-handling practices; report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond courteously to guest requests and follow hotel emergency procedures and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Cleaning, hotel housekeeping experience is helpful; hotel experience and familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices are preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation, vacuuming, floor care, and cleaning equipment is an asset.
• Able to handle chemical agents safely, use safe manual-handling practices for tasks that may involve heavy lifting.
• Demonstrates customer service skills, reliability, attention to detail, and an understanding of hospitality.
• Willing to learn property-specific procedures and work collaboratively with the housekeeping team.

Required qualifications:

• 6+ months of experience in the hospitality industry
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
• Available to work: on call

• Able to comfortably lift 40 lbs
• Background check

• Able to stand for duration of shift
