Pacer Forklift Crown

A Crown Pacer operator role involves safely driving a stand‐up powered industrial truck (Crown Pacer) to move pallets and goods in warehouse, logistics, or shipping environments, often in cold or mixed‐temperature settings.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Shifts: 1st 2nd or 3rd shift; some roles offer day shifts.
• Pay: $18–$20/hour, depending on employer and experience.
• Settings: Cold storage, freezer, normal warehouse, and outdoor loading areas.
• Physical demands: Standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions; may require working in varying temperatures.

• Operate Crown Pacer forklift to move pallets, merchandise, and containers within the facility, including from receiving to storage or to shipping areas.
• Load and unload pre‐assembled merchandise, pallets, and master containers for shipment, following container mapping and special loading instructions to prevent damage and maintain load stability.
• Work in multiple environments — cold storage (e.g., 35°ree;F), freezer, normal warehouse, and outdoor areas — as required.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working order.
• Verify product loading by checking export documentation and taking photos of every two pallets loaded for records.
• Perform ancillary duties such as pallet wrapping, cleaning containers, and moving loads with stock trucks or mechanical jacks.

Requirements At least 6 months of stand‐up pacer (Crown) forklift experience.

• High school diploma or GED.
• OSHA forklift certification.
• Steel‐toed boots required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
• Physical stamina to handle lifting, carrying, and repetitive motions.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong attention to detail for accurate loading and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with warehouse staff.
