Revenue Accountant

Financial Additions has a great 2-4 month consulting/contract opportunity for an experienced and degreed Revenue Accountant. This is a hybrid role in north Dallas for a large non-profit organization. Responsibilities Include:

• Manage revenue recognition and accounts receivable activities in accordance with GAAP, internal controls, and established procedures.
• Support HQ departments and regional staff with revenue, cash receipts, ACH, credit card, and accounts receivable processes.
• Coordinate revenue reporting and online fundraising transactions; manage relationships with third-party payment platforms.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, scorecards, reserve analyses, and related financial reporting.
• Complete monthly and quarterly reconciliations, financial analyses, and reporting within established deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with cash-handling procedures, PCI requirements, and financial security controls.
• Special projects, and other management reporting needs as requested

Qualifications Include:

• 3+ years of general accounting experience, including cash handling and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate accounting practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and organizational skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
