PrideStaff is seeking an experienced AP in Vista, Ca.

Position: AP
Pay Rate: $25-$28/hr DOE
Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm

The Accounts Payable & Inventory Clerk manages the full-cycle accounts payable process, validates invoice cost accuracy, and maintains inventory records. This role also supports the operations department by investigating unreturned parts and posting daily online store activity. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset to bridge accounting and operations.

What You Will Do
? Maintain accurate vendor profiles including the related Forms W-9.
? Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring precise general ledger coding.
? Perform three-way matching across purchase orders, receiving documents and vendor invoices.
? Verify line-item pricing to ensure invoiced costs match agreed rates.
? Update unit costs in the inventory system as needed.
? Post daily e-store financial transactions.
? Support operations by making outbound calls regarding missing or unreturned parts.
? Communicate directly with vendors to resolve billing errors, missing credits or price
variances.
? Obtain proper vendor invoice approvals and prepare weekly check runs for management approval.
? Assist in reconciling monthly and quarterly inventory reports.
? Performs other duties as assigned to support the business.

What We Are Looking For
? 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, purchasing or inventory accounting.
? QuickBooks Online experience is required.
? Proven ability to multi-task.
? Strong phone etiquette and professional assertiveness for resolving discrepancies.
? High mathematical accuracy, data entry precision, and problem-solving skills.
? Data entry skills along with analytical and math abilities.
? Advanced hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel.
? Strong oral and written communication skills.
? Manufacturing experience is preferred.
? High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality is required.
