Restaurant Host Hostess

We are seeking a Restaurant Host/Hostess to create a welcoming first impression and support smooth front-of-house operations. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, this role will join a small host team and coordinate guest seating, reservations, inquiries, and dining room flow. The position offers cross-training opportunities in serving and does not require travel.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Manage reservations and coordinate the waitlist.
• Assign tables and seat guests efficiently.
• Distribute menus and respond to guest inquiries.
• Coordinate dining room activities with the front-of-house team.
• Handle incoming phone calls.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in restaurant guest services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reservation management, point-of-sale systems, or table management.
• Strong guest relations and conflict-resolution skills.
• Effective communication and multitasking abilities.
• Commitment to teamwork.
