Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral health support.
• Follow the principles of infection control
• Collaborate with nursing staff to report changes in patient condition promptly; participate in care planning and documentation efforts.
• Engage and interact compassionately with residents, delivering care tailored to individual needs within a residential care setting,

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA).
• Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS).
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
• Ability to work effectively on weekend shifts and during peak hours; flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs.
• Strong communication skills with a positive attitude; committed to providing excellent patient service.
• Prior experience with geriatric population is preferred.
