Job Description

Electrical Construction Foreman

Lead the Crew. Light the Field. Build Something That Lasts.

Full-Time | Field-Based | Some In-State Travel Required

You Bring the Electrical Construction Experience. We'll Train You on the Rest!

At Lighting Maintenance, Inc. (LMI), we bring athletic fields, stadiums, and outdoor facilities to life through professional sports lighting installations.

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Foreman who knows electrical construction, can lead a crew, and takes pride in getting the job done right.

No sports lighting experience? No problem! You bring the electrical knowledge and leadership skills, and we'll teach you the sports lighting side of the business!

This is a hands-on leadership position. We're looking for a working foreman who leads by example, not someone who just supervises from the sidelines.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and work alongside crews on sports lighting and outdoor electrical construction projects.
  • Oversee installation of lighting systems, poles, foundations, conduit, wiring, controls, and electrical equipment.
  • Read blueprints, organize daily work, coordinate materials, and keep projects on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and solve challenges in the field.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and customers.
  • Maintain jobsite safety, quality, productivity, and accurate project documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
  • Proven experience leading crews and managing jobsites.
  • Strong electrical installation, conduit, wiring, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and apply NEC requirements.
  • Journeyman Electrician license required.
  • Strong leadership skills and a hands-on work ethic.
  • Comfortable working outdoors, around heavy equipment, and at heights.
  • Sports lighting or Musco Lighting experience is a plus, but NOT required. We'll train you!
  • Willingness to travel within the state as projects require.

Why Join LMI?

You're not just installing lights. You're helping create the places where athletes compete, kids build confidence, and communities come together.

We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Training in specialized sports lighting systems and installations.
  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription benefits.
  • Life and disability insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Career growth and leadership opportunities.

Benefits subject to eligibility and plan terms.

Ready to Lead from the Field?

If you're an experienced electrical foreman looking for something different, this could be your next opportunity!

Bring your electrical expertise. We'll teach you sports lighting. Together, we'll build something that lasts.
